SWAINTON – On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Middle Township Police Department and Court House Fire Department were dispatched to the Stone Harbor Golf Club in the Swainton section of Middle Township for a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival it was found that the garage that contained the company’s golf carts was on fire. The fire was extinguished by Court House Fire Department, Stone Harbor Fire Department and Green Creek Fire Department.
The Middle Township Police Major Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Fire Marshal’s Office were contacted and are currently conducting an investigation on the cause of the fire. At this time the fire appears to be non-suspicious.
