NASW Museum to receive Sidewinders

Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum has been given final approval from the Department Of The Navy to take delivery of four Sidewinder 9R missiles.
The missiles were originally used on the F-14 Tomcat, and will be displayed with the popular F-14 at the NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum.
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum Summer hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. open Monday through Sunday rain or shine.
Museum admission is $6 for adults, and $4 for children aged 3 -12, under age 3 are free. Don’t forget your camera.
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum is located in Historic Hangar No. 1 at the Cape May County Airport in Lower Township.
Cape May Airport was formerly Naval Air Station Wildwood, which served as a World War II dive-bomber training center. The museum is dedicated to the 42 airmen who perished while training at Naval Air Station Wildwood between 1943 and 1945.
